My friends and I recently enjoyed a lovely vacation in a charming hotel in the German countryside. the location was idyllic, surrounded by picturesque villages and beautiful landscapes. We were impressed by the cozy rooms, which were clean and well-maintained. the bathroom was modern and provided all the necessary amenities. the friendly staff offered superb service, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. the highlight of our mornings was the delicious breakfast, with a wide variety of tasty options to choose from. the hotel also had excellent facilities, including a cozy lounge area and a peaceful garden.

That we arrived on a Tuesday and found out, with short notice, that some nearby facilities in the village were closed on that day.

The hotel was closed on Tuesdays, but we were informed about this only 24 hours before we arrived. We found the key under a flower pot, as instructed. the location of the hotel, although not in the main town, offered a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, perfect for getting away from bustling city life.

The short notice of the hotel's closure and the key under the flower pot, were not great. We felt that this was poor customer service.

During my city trip, I had a great stay at a cozy inn located in a small village a few miles from the city center. I was pleasantly surprised by the self-check-in process, which made it seamless for me to pick up my key and settle into my room after a long day of travel. the village's quiet atmosphere provided a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of urban life.

That being said, I was disappointed to find that most of the village's shops and restaurants were closed on Tuesdays, the day of my arrival. I had hoped to grab a quick bite after my long drive from Calais, but sadly there were no options available.
